Simplify the transition to full and hybrid IP workflows with AJA’s new KONA IP25 PCIe IP video/audio card. Engineered to meet the demands of SMPTE ST 2110 ecosystems, KONA IP25 boasts 10/25 GigE SFP connectivity, multi-channel UltraHD support, uncompressed bidirectional SMPTE ST 2110 capabilities, 2022-7 redundancy, compatibility with popular third party creative apps, and more.
OG-ColorBox packs the proven color management and conversion toolset of AJA ColorBox into an openGear form factor so that live production professionals can answer their color needs in the field. It delivers ultra-low latency (less than half a video line), high density 4K/UltraHD high dynamic range (HDR) wide color gamut (WCG) video processing, extensive HDR/WCG conversion options, color correction, and custom look-up table (LUT) processing for live production, and more.
New v3.0 firmware for AJA ColorBox brings a host of new features to AJA’s proven ColorBox color management and conversion device, including support for the new openGear OG-ColorBox, a new SDR to Dolby Vision Preview mode and ARRI Alexa 35 LogC4 Wide Gamut 4 WVO support in Live Mode via the Colorfront license. The release also delivers a configurable ACES AMF pipeline, added support for .CLF and .CTF files, the ability to configure the SDI and HDMI outputs for color space and bit depth, and other improvements.
Developed in collaboration with AWS, Virtual KONA is an exciting new software defined, virtualized video capture and playback solution coming in 2025. It integrates the AJA SDK with AWS Cloud Digital Interface (CDI), a network technology for transporting high quality, uncompressed video inside the cloud. Combined, the technologies break down the barriers between on-premises and cloud for media production, allowing third party developers to build solutions across both environments for a range of applications spanning broadcast through live streaming, post, and beyond.
OG-C10DA is AJA’s latest addition to its openGear line of products. The openGear compatible 1x9 analog distribution simplifies signal management across broadcast, production, and proAV environments with 8 BNC outputs and 1 additional output for loop-out/processing. It easily integrates with NTSC/PAL, sync, and AES3-id signals and offers control via DashBoard software for straightforward configuration and control.
New AJA Diskover Media Edition plug-ins for PixitMedia’s Ngenea data orchestration solution and Spectra Logic’s RioBroker, a media management and archiving platform, and a v2.3 software update featuring UI improvements are set to streamline data management and transfer workflows. Providing the flexibility to work with a broader range of toolsets and data catalog with greater efficiency, the new plug-ins and v2.3 enhancements enable users to make more informed decisions about the data that lives on their local, remote, and cloud storage.
