Small Pixels SPAIQ: AI Video Enhancement and Bandwidth Optimization

A key highlight will be Small Pixels’ SPAIQ product line, designed for real-time AI-based video processing. SPAIQ enables up to 50% bitrate savings while preserving — or even enhancing — visual quality by up to 44% VMAF. SPAIQ operates with 1-frame latency and does not require modifications to existing encoders, also ideal for live streaming, legacy archive restoration, and AI-powered HD-to-4K upscaling

The system supports both on-premises and cloud-based deployments via Docker containers, making it a scalable, sustainable solution for broadcasters and streaming providers seeking to optimize delivery costs and visual performance.

PlexusAV: Standards-Based AV-over-IP Powered by IPMX and JPEG XS

Village Island will also feature PlexusAV, a fully IPMX-compliant AV-over-IP platform supporting ultra-low latency JPEG XS and H.264/H.265 transmission. The P-AVN-4 transceiver combines HDMI/USB-C video, balanced audio, and Dante/AES67 IP audio streams with complete routing flexibility.

The system also includes the P-AVN-SCG, a versatile stream converter bridging IPMX with SRT, RTSP, MPEG-TS, and NDI-HX2/3 sources, and P-AVN-VA, a control hub enabling centralized monitoring and batch configuration. Built on open standards, PlexusAV is aimed at bridging ProAV and broadcast workflows in control rooms, education, events, and enterprise AV.

AI100 + VICO: ST-2110 Analyzer & JPEG XS Gateway for Broadcast IP Workflows

For broadcasters and system engineers, Village Island will demonstrate its combined workflow using the VICO-4L-XS encoder/decoder and the new AI100 Analyzer.

• The VICO-4L-XS acts as a professional-grade JPEG XS encoder/decoder and SDI ↔ ST-2110/IP gateway.

• The AI100 provides deep, real-time analysis of ST-2110-20/22/30/40 streams, including full RTP structure, JPEG XS syntax, buffer integrity, and PTP timing visualization.

• It supports NMOS IS-04/05, ST2022-7 redundancy validation, with a web-based GUI and SNMP-based alerting.
